Huge update!
A new update for the alpha is ready. Here is an overview of the changes added since the last update:
-Controls are tighter, especially for keyboard users.
-When attached with beak, added the option to prevent launching by holding the grab button OR using a different button
-2 brand new zones with over 100 levels.
-Settings are now saved autmatically and persist across save games
-New music tracks added
-Tilemaps and levels load faster
-Collision edge cases have been reviewed and improved
-Save games store and display more information in menus
-Menu improvements
-Huge graphics update. New tilesets, backgrounds, animations, and sprites have been added
-Added a unique zone end event for each zone
-Added 3 new NPC characters with dialogue trees
-Lightmap improvements on various elements
-More sound effects added
-Overall presentation (summary screens, opening scene, events, credits) is more polished
-some secret levels...
The plan is to add 3 more zones. I hope to reach about 250-300 levels in total. Each new zone will introduce a new mechanic like wind, boost resets, or the popular boost platforms and combine them with mechanics from previous zones.
